Two generously filled inserts—one seat and one full-height back—contain a resilient blend of shredded foam and polyfiber. Soft water-resistant ticking keeps the fill contained, while the frameless construction holds its shape at a 17″ seat height (uncompressed), sinks in comfortably when you sit and moves with you without ever needing styrofoam beanbag refills.

Materials, with a purpose

A removable Sunbrella cover for fade resistance, easy care and a soft hand-feel. Water-resistant ticking adds a protective layer around the foam-and-polyfiber fill. Bonded thread joins the upholstery, and woven polypropylene finishes the underside.

Outdoor use & everyday care

Sunbrella upholstery and water-resistant ticking are chosen for everyday outdoor living. Brush off debris, clean the cover with mild soap and water, and air dry. Follow your Cove care guide for washing. Do not machine wash the filled inserts. Protect or store during prolonged rain or severe weather, and let all layers dry fully before covering or storing.

Free furniture shipping within the contiguous 48 United States and Washington, D.C. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories or destinations outside the U.S., contact us for a shipping quote before ordering.

Furniture is currently made to order and ships in 7–10 business days. Transit time is additional. Your seat and back inserts arrive vacuum sealed. Open the bags when you’re ready to fill the cover, then guide the inserts inside while the foam is still expanding. The compressed shape makes them easier to insert. Zip closed, gently shape the chair and allow 24–48 hours for full loft. No rigid frame, feet, hardware or tools.

The removable Sunbrella cover combines an inviting upholstery feel with fade and stain resistance. Color runs through the solution-dyed fibers, rather than sitting only on the surface. Its water-repellent finish helps droplets bead up so they can be brushed away. And a removable cover means fabric care can happen separately from the filled inserts.

Feel the fabrics with two free swatches

Water-resistant tickingAn extra layer between moisture and comfort.

Inside the outer cover, each soft insert has its own thin ticking shell. This water-resistant liner helps resist moisture reaching the foam-and-polyfiber blend while keeping the filling contained. It adds a second protective layer beneath the upholstery. After heavy rain, let all layers dry thoroughly before covering or storing your chair.

Separate seat and full-height back inserts hold a resilient blend of shredded foam and polyfiber. The foam contributes cushioning and support; the fiber adds softness. Together they create the relaxed, enveloping feel of Cove, without a hard frame or bean filling.

Sewn with bonded threadCare in the seams, not just the surface.

Bonding helps hold the thread’s strands together and reduces abrasion during sewing. That supports a clean, consistent stitch as the upholstery is assembled. Cove is sewn with bonded thread in our family-run High Point workshop—one of the details behind its tailored finish.

Woven undersideA purpose-chosen fabric at the base.

Woven polypropylene finishes the underside of the chair, where it meets your deck, patio or floor. The chair sits directly on its fabric base, keeping the silhouette low and the construction frameless.
